Arthur's Seat
This is a view of Arthur's Seat from the east, with a few figures at
the summit and approaching it from the direction of Dunsappie Loch.
Arthur's Seat is an extinct volcano, 823 ft above sea level, in
Queen's Park
near the centre of Edinburgh, with views around Edinburgh, to the Castle,
the Old Town, the New Town and across the
Firth of Forth
to Fife.
This photograph was taken from the road leading up the hill from
St Margaret's Loch to
the car park at Dunsappie Loch, a popular starting point for a walk up
Arthur's Seat.
