Lower Granton Road

Lower Granton Road runs along the south side of Granton's Eastern Harbour, about 3 miles NNW of the centre of Edinburgh. 

This view looks to the east towards Lower Granton Road from a point close to the entrance to Middle Pier (hidden behind the engine). 

The bus is waiting in Granton Square.

Thank you to WAC Smith for allowing me to reproduce this photo.  The photo was taken on April 7, 1958, about 18 months after the last of Edinburgh's trams were replaced by buses.
