This photo was taken from one of the paths in the SE corner of Princes Street Gardens.  It looks to the SW towards the police box in market street and the Head Office of HBoS, formerly the Head Office of Bank of Scotland, at the top of the mound, hidden by the trees (top-left and top-centre).

The old Police Box seen here is one of several that can still be found in the streets of Edinburgh.
