This postcard appears to be a posed photograph, with the driver and many of the local children proud of the new electric tram standing in Newhaven Road, probably in the section of road beside Victoria Park. The only other road users are two carts. This postcard was posted in Edinburgh on 1 September 1905. It was published by J Naylor & Co., Pioneers, Leith. This is the only postcard that I have seen from this publisher. |
