Looking North This is one of several Police boxes still to be found in the streets of Edinburgh. Here, we look to the north, towards Princes Street, from Princes Street Gardens. This photo was taken in October 2010, with Autumn leaves on the ground. One of the many tour buses, this one with a half-open-top, was passing along Princes Street, with British Home Stores in the background, when this photo was taken. The display on the pole between the Police Box and the bus is a 'BusTracker System' display, showing, in real time, when buses on the different routes are expected to reach this stop. |
