Police Box

This photo was taken beside the NE corner of St John's Church at the West End of Princes Street.

-  The Police Box at the top of the steps is at Princes Street.  This is one of several old Police Boxes that can still be found in the streets of Edinburgh.

-  The statue in the upper-left corner of the photo is to:

 Sir James Young Simpson, Baronet MD DCL

 Pioneer of Anaesthesia

-  The notice board shows notices for St Cuthbert's Church which lies immediately to the SE of St John's Church, close to the West End of Princes Street.
