Thank you to Ian Bartlett for allowing me to reproduce this Valentine postcard from the early 1900s, looking down on Alexander Ayton's studio in Londonderry, Northern Ireland.

About three decades later, these photos were taken of the same building but after the studio had closed and the building had become a costumier and furrier:
