Open-Top Bus and Performers in Golden Costumes |
Some of the performers on the Edinburgh Fringe cross Waverley Bridge as part of the 2004 Cavalcade to mark the opening of Edinburgh Festival Fringe. I don't know which group they are, but can tell you about the bus! The bus was formerly one of the Lothian Region Transport (LRT) buses that operated in Edinburgh, formerly painted maroon, officially described as 'madder'. The bus has been converted to open-top and now runs tours around Edinburgh starting at Waverley Bridge - just where the bus is now passing. Lothian Tours are operated by Lothian Buses (the new name for LRT).
