A large group of
performers representing Falun Dafa make a colourful spectacle as
they make their way over Waverley Bridge at the start of the 2004
Edinburgh Cavalcade.
Falun Dafa is a worldwide movement,
first introduced to China in 1992.
It claims to improve body, mind and
spirit through the study of universal principles of truth,
benevolence and forbearance, together with exercise and
meditation.
The photograph above has
been constrained into a long vertical shape, and as a result some
of the performers look rather particularly tall and slim.
