Princes Street

The Life Association Head Office

Here is a view of a quiet Princes Street, or possibly a busy Princes Street with all the action lost through the long time exposure.

The ornate facade is the Life Association of Scotland's Head Office, designed by David Rhind, under construction, with decorative features still to be added to the top of the building.  It was designed by the architect David Rhind, and built 1855-58

Please click here for a later view of the building.
