An Ivatt engine, 46461, stops at Blackford Hill station in June 1958, on the inner circle of the Edinburgh Suburban line that passed through the southern suburbs of Edinburgh. The inner circle line ran anti-clockwise; the outer circle, beside it, ran clockwise from Waverley station and through the southern suburbs. |
