This photograph shows tramway tracks on Slateford Road, with the chimney of the Caledonian Brewery in the background, and the tenements on the left leading round into Wardlaw Street. Judging by the No 8 bus in the background, this photograph would have been taken in the early-mid 1950s as the tram tracks were being lifted.
