Patrick
Hutton, Edinburgh, tells me that he is looking for more information on
Arthur Wheatley, whom he has been told is a descendant of Thomas Wheatley,
locomotive superintendent of
the North
British Railway Coy and the designer of the engine that went down with the
Tay Bridge in 1879.
Patrick also tells me that there is also a
thought
that Arthur Wheatley possessed the whistle from
said engine!!
