Two Styles of Back The photographer's name and address usually appeared on the back of the card. I have seen two different styles of back for James Henderson's cartes de visite. I have seen about an equal number of each of these styles, but only one carte de visite amongst them that has been dated. It is dated 1863 and has a back similar to the first illustrated below. |
