"I am researching a relative of mine, John Ross, who was photographer in Edinburgh during the 19th century. 

I have him living at 3 Great Kings street at the time of the 1881 census."

"Incidentally, it was his wife, Elizabeth Thomson Ross who was the miniaturist mentioned on the back of his cards.
