Watercolour
Artist
I have received a message from the owner of three
watercolours by William Truefitt, presumably the same man as above.
All paintings are untitled, but they have been described to
me as:
1. Possibly a view of Old Edinburgh
2. Tantallon Castle and the Bass Rock in the Firth of
Forth
3. Possibly a Dutch scene. It includes a
windmill.
Does anybody know how the work of William Truefitt
was regarded in the art world?
