Photos, Postcards and what else? |

Valentine & Sons are best known for their postcards and photos. However, they also produced several books. What else did they produce? |

1. Playing Cards |
|
St Andrews University Library have a large archive of Valentine & Sons postcards. The library sometimes receives questions about other items produced by the company. Staff at the Library tell me that they have been told of playing cards that were produced by the company, and that it was those overseas businesses whose Valentine stock went beyond postcards that remained open when others closed in the early 20th century. |

Comics "I've been trying to find out something about two 'one-off' comics apparently produced by Valentine & Sons in 1948: - Ace Comics and - Super Bumper Comics These were produced by comic artist turned nature artist Len Fullerton, who had moved to Dundee a few years earlier. I wonder if you've ever come across any references to these publications. Any help or advice about how to find out more would be greatly appreciated."
