Feb to May 2014

Tram testing began between the tram depot at Gogar and Edinburgh Airport in 2013.  Testing was extended over the whole line in early December 2013, and began in daytime in Central Edinburgh in late-February, 2014.

Looking WSW across the square decorated with 9,500 optical fibre-based glass spheres on stems, intended
to create a field of light at night.  This art exhibition by British Artist Brian Munro runs until April 27, 2014.

Looking across St Andrew Square towards the former Scottish Widows' Head Office and the current
Standard Life Investments' Head Office on the west side of the square.  The Melville Monument is in the
centre of the square.  The steeple of St Andrew's and St George's church is near the East End of George Street.

This is one of the first buses to be painted in this livery.  It replaces a harlequin livery with red roof for Route 26
