Testing the Trams

The photos below were all taken on 13 March 2014,  during Exercise Salvador, an exercise in which 1,000 members of the public were invited to test Edinburgh's new trams, a couple of months before their launch.

The tram bosses were particularly keen to test the trams' ability to cope with 60,000 fans expected to attend the One Direction concert at Murrayfield Stadium on 3 June 2014, shortly after the tram system goes live.
