Netball Team "This photo was taken by someone at the school - I'm not sure who. I don't remember the girls' names. I only remember the headmaster, I don't know if that is a good sign or not. His name was Mr. Allan." Dorothy Addison, Tsawwassen, British Columbia, Canada: May 23, 2007 |
Thank you to Bill Jansen, Portobello, who wrote |

Netball Team "Imagine my surprise when I saw my photo on this page! I was on that net ball team, and had completely forgotten about this being taken. 1948 I'm on the front row, last on the left. Netball Team I'd love to be in contact with others who were probably class mates. We seem to be scattered all over the world, but with the internet, that's no longer a problem! One of my best friends at Towerbank was Willrene Marshall. Her father had a butcher shop on High Street, Portobello. I wonder where she might be now. I believe that she was in the States at one time. I look forward to finding out more from others in the future." Helen Slate (née Isaac): June 21, 2014 |
