Here
is a Philco postcard view of Portobello Promenade and beach.
The
shop sing on the dark background (in the tall buildings) is Miss A
Steedman, 32-33 Promenade. This dates the photograph to between
1910 and 1921.
The
low building at the right hand end of this block (centre of post card)
is 29 Promenade, a photographic studio from 1900 until 1922

Other studios were located between 20a and 26a Promenade. I
believe that these may have been low buildings slightly further back
from the promenade beyond the light 4-storey tenement block on this
postcard.
