Edinburgh in December
Edinburgh's Capital Christmas celebrations begin
in late-November with the switching on of the Christmas Lights.
During December there will be:
- Christmas Tree on the Mound
- Christmas lights [including Princes Street,
George Street and Royal Mile]
- Winter Floral Clock

- The 'Edinburgh
Wheel' [a Ferris wheel, beside the Scott Monument]

The lights on the Christmas Tree on the Mound and
the Christmas Lights in the streets in the centre of Edinburgh will be
switched on at 6pm on Thursday 25 November.
This will also mark the opening of the Winter
Wonderland ice rink, the Big Wheel and the German Market, all in East
Princes Street Gardens |
