Here is another photograph taken by Inglis from the Scott Monument looking towards the North British Hotel.  His earlier photograph in 1912  showed many small carts and horse drawn vehicles beside the road.  In this view the street and pavement are both much busier with buses and trams dominating the scene.   Further changes can be seen in the 1930 view
