8 January 1861 |
Fox Talbot will exhibit a series of his photographic engravings
"Hon Mr Fox
Talbot was expected to have been at the meeting, but sent a letter
expressing his regret at being unable to be present.
However he
sent a great number of specimens of his patent photoglyphic engravings which
were handed round among the members." |
February 1861 to
October 1861 |
I have not yet found any
details of these meetings, other than a letter from the PSS Secretary AF
Adam to Fox Talbot, in which Adam said:
"There will be another ordinary
Meeting of our Society on the 9th
of April and the Annual General Meeting takes place on the 14th
of May
– I should be very happy indeed if you would
also allow your engravings to be shewn at either or both of these Meetings " |
