Practical Photography Section

Most of the EPS Practical Photography Section Meetings were held between 1898 and 1923.  Meeting were normally held monthly throughout the season.  During the later part of the First World War (1914-18) there appear not to have been any Meetings of the Section.

After having no Meetings for almost 20 years, the Section appears to have been revived in the later years of the Second World War (1939-1945), again with the involvement of A H MacLucas, who became known as "The Grand Old Man of the EPS".
