Beauty

Beauty’s a dated word they say,

Better forget it

But I have heard Menuhin play.

Watched sunset flooding Morar Bay

Seen tender smiles that seemed to stray

Across your lips, them melt away

Something  of these has come to stay

And humbly I affirm today

I’m glad I met it.
