Edinburgh
In 1885, Dr. A Hunter gave a Lecture “Where to go with a Camera in and about Edinburgh” He finished
his lecture by reading a poem:

Eight
years later, Douglas Fraser
was writing poetry. Douglas
was EPS Secretary from 1938 to 1941 then became Portfolio Secretary for
the next fifteen years.
He
was also a keen hill walker. His
appreciation of Edinburgh, Scotland and the landscape can be found both in
his photography and in his poems.
