The backs of these cartes de visite have the Royal Coat of Arms with one medal on either side. This may be a guide to the dates that these photos were produced. I have not yet been able to date these photos. A & G Taylor used the Royal Coat of Arms on the back of their cartes de visite from the mid-1860s and the Plume of Feathers from 1882 |
