This is one of the photographs in the collection of the National Portrait Gallery - possibly donated by EPS along with its collection of Hill & Adamson and other photographs around 1990. The photo below is 24ins by 19ins but is only identified as being an EPS Outing. The photographer is not named. This photograph has now been identified as being Craigmillar Castle. I'll investigate when it may have been taken. [Craigmillar Castle was one of the suggested places to visit when the Photographic Convention of the United Kingdom held their 1892 Convention in Edinburgh, hosted by EPS.] |
