1. The North Pitt Street address is a short distance to the north of Princes Street. All other addresses are to the west of the City Centre 2. I have eight cartes de visite by John Center in my collection. Five of these are from his first studio, 37 North Pitt Street. 3. The home at 3 Grove Street was described as having three rooms with windows [1881 Census] 4. The address, 64 Grove Street, was the address of a Bagpipe and Reed Manufacture business being run by John Center and his brother, William, in 1901. William died in November 1901.
