Thank you to Sharon Lorraine Smith for posting a message in the EdinPhoto guest book telling me more about the Low family of photographers. Sharon wrote: "My great-great-grandfather was Peter Claude Low." Grandmother "My Grandmother was Lilly Florence Low. She was born in 1901 and passed away in 1966. She was a real character. I love her dearly. She played a huge part in my life. I have a number of photos of her when she was on stage. She never married, but had two children. They were my mother, Melody Mary Low, and my uncle Edward Peter Low who goes by the name of Peter ** Low. Lily moved from South Africa to New Zealand to be with her bother, my great uncle, Claude ** Low. I have a number of photos taken by Claude and his over-sized business cards.
