Official Opening of the
New Community Gardens
 on the Promenade

On Saturday June 3, 2006, new community gardens on Portobello Promenade were officially opened.  The occasion was marked by a parade along the promenade in Victorian costume, songs, games and a  Punch & Judy show.

The event was organised  by Portobello Open Doors  -  and the sun shone!
