Park and Golf Course

Portobello Park and Golf course lie to the north of Milton Road, between Milton Road and the railway line.

There have been proposals for developments, including a school, on this land.  These have been opposed by local residents

Portobello High School

Despite the protests mentioned above, planning permission was granted for the new Portobello High School to be built on this site.  The school has now been built.  Pupils moved in  after the school holiday break in October 2016.
