       Only
one photographic studio advertised in the Caledonian Mercury
newspaper in 1842 and early 1843.  It was 19
Princes Street  (using the original spelling of the street, 19 Prince's Street).
        This
studio was in the name of:

        -
        Edwards, Counsell

        -
        Counsell & Miles
        late June, July? 1842
        -
        Counsell  July?,

Later in 1943, Mr Mullins advertised his
specimens of views and portraits that could be seen at The Photographic
Institution, 19 Princes Street.  He was also offering lessons in
        photography from the same address.
