EPS Member in 1890
(I have assumed that it was CGH Kinnear,
rather than Charles Kinnear, below, who was the EPS Member in 1890.)
The January 1895 edition of The Practical Photographer
[pp.20-21] reported the death of CGH Kinnaird, as
follows:
"Colonel Kinnear, of Edinburgh died on Nov 5th. He first
suggested the use of a bellows body for cameras, and for many years after
their adoption, cameras were described as fitted with Kinnear bellows.
He was the secretary of the Photographic Society of Scotland for
several years after its formation when Sir David Brewster was president."
