George Halyburton Balmain

I have not found any reference to George Halyburton Balmain in any of the trade directories.  However, he ran the business at Athol Place, for many years, which traded under the name of his father, James CH Balmain.

Blanche Laing, now aged 84 (in year 2000) and living in Edinburgh, worked for George Halyburton Balmain.  Blanche Laing is daughter of  George Henderson Laing.
