Looking towards Calton Hill and Edinburgh Jail
This view looks across the railway at the east end of Waverley Station towards the North Bridge (rebuilt around 1900) and Calton Jail (now demolished) at the foot of Calton Hill.  Nelson's Monument can be seen on the Calton Hill in the distance.
