telling me about a painting of a view in Edinburgh by Arthur Elwell
Moffat, sold at Lyon & Turnbull's auction in Edinburgh. The
painting is a watercolour titled 'Springtime Corstorphine'.

member of Edinburgh Photographic Society in 1880-81, giving his address
as The Avenue, Greenhill Gardens.
He
and Frank Pelham Moffat were the two sons of John Moffat who joined the family
business. Arthur Elwell Moffat
