Postcard Portraits Almost all the ER Yerbury photos that I have seen are portraits. A few, but not many, have been produced as postcards. (Some other Edinburgh photographers produced most of their portraits as postcards.) Postcard Views The postcard below is the only Yerbury postcard view that I have seen. It is numbered in pencil on the back 36756. This will be the negative number, rather than an indication that Yerbury produced over 30,000 different postcards! TitleThe title of this view is:Craigend ChapelDedicated 9th July 1934Please click on this thumbnail image to enlarge it. I'd like to discover where this chapel was situated, and if it still exists. The layout suggests that it is likely to be a protestant or independent chapel. I think it may well be somewhere in the west of Scotland, rather than in Edinburgh. |
