Family Visit to America

Thank you to Martin Yerbury for e-mailing me in March 2006 to tell me that he had just become aware of the Castle Garden web site which has a database of passengers who travelled to the USA in the 19th century.

This web site includes the  arrival of Edward  Yerbury b.1816 and his family in the USA on 20 March 1849.  Edward's wife and daughter, both named Eleanor, were both listed as Helen in the passenger list.
