Looking towards Arthur Seat Blackford Hill is one of Edinburgh's seven hills. It is the home of the Royal Observatory and Visitor Center. It lies about two miles to the south of the centre of Edinburgh. It is 538ft high with views in all directions. This view looks to the north-east across the suburbs of the Grange and Newington towards Arthur Seat (823 ft high) in Queen's Park, about two miles away.
