also a James Howie Junior studio in Glasgow in 1860.
James Howie Junior's home
address in Edinburgh in 1845 was 39 South Bridge.
This became the address of
many photographers
from 1858 until 1916.
60 Princes Street
James Howie Junior's name
continued to appear in the Edinburgh Trade Directories as a photographer
at 60 Princes Street from 1864 until 1889, but he appears in fact to have
died some time before the 1871 Census was taken.
