Question
I received the following message
from Alastair Campbell, Kelso, Scotland:
"In
the 1950s a number of Post Cards were published by 'Lillywhites'
Can you again throw any light on a possible contact for this firm?"
If you can help,
please
e-mail me and I will forward your message.
Thank you.

Answer
Thank you to Malcolm Powel who sent
the reply below, which I've now passed on to Alastair Campbell.
Malcolm wrote:
"I
can tell you that a firm named Lilywhites was based in Millbank,
then relocated to Sowerby Bridge in 1931 after a fire. I don't
have any more details - but they produced a number of postcards
and were famous for paper and cards in the area at that time.
There is a mention of the company in this
Halifax Courier
online article."
