D Richard Torrance, Edinburgh,
tells me that there was a company, Charles Helmrich & Sons,
Aberdeen that published an Albany series of postcards. They
added the initials 'CH&S,
A' to their postcards.
I don't know whether or not this is
the same company as published the Albany series of cards of
Edinburgh above. |

All other 'Caledonia Series'
postcards in my collection were published by J M & Co and/or
by Marshall Wane & Co, Edinburgh. But the postcard
above has no publisher's name on it.

Cards on textured
paper
©
This is an
attractive series of cards, printed on heavily textured paper. The
pictures have the appearance of oil paintings with brush strokes.
I have still not
discovered the photographer or publisher of the cards.
Please
thumbnail
images of many of these cards.

Cards
numbered PN....
©
I have seen several
cards with numbers PN...., but no photographer's name or publisher.
The cards that I have seen appear to have been published around the
1960s. The numbers indicate that the company may have produced
quite a large number of different views. If you know who this
publisher was, please e-mail me.
Thank you.
