Edinburgh Photographic
Society has met on Wednesday evenings, ever since the society was founded
in 1861.
Meetings are held at 68 Great King Street, commencing 7.30pm from October
to April each year.
An Exhibition is held in the society's premises each August during the
Edinburgh Festival. Here is the

The Royal Photographic
Society has a long and distinguished history, and a world-wide membership.
It offers distinctions (FRPS, ARPS and LRPS) and has a number of special
interest groups. The RPS web site has links to many other web sites
relating to photography.

This society has been meeting in Edinburgh since
1821, and has been discussing photography since
1839. Another lecture on photography is to be held on 14
October
