is just visible in the background, on the right hand side of the picture.
Construction work can be
seen on the wall that currently separates the galleries from East Princes
Street Gardens. The entrance to the new underground link between the
two Playfair galleries, currently under construction as part of the
Playfair Project, is to be created here.

Royal Scottish Academy can be seen at the lower-right corner of the
