Saint Leonard's Hill

Request for a Photo

Joyce Ritchie was born in her grandparents' house at 7 St Leonard's Hill. Joyce is the daughter  of Wullie Croal who took several photos in and around  of Dumbiedykes and Holyrood Park that can now be found on the EdinPhoto web site.

Thank you to Joyce Duff, née Dalgleish for sending me this photograph of herself and Willie Dalgleish standing outside No 29 St Leonard's Hill.  The photo was taken in 1955 or 1956.

I believe that the buildings are the same as they were a century ago.  They have been refurbished recently.
