The total number of sessions during May was
661,968, an increase of 13.4%
on April 2007.
The total number of pages viewed during
May 2007 was 1,400,679, an
increase of 49.6% on April 2007.
2. The number of sessions and pages
viewed increased significantly around mid-May. I don't know why.
3. The proportion of visits from people finding the web site through Google
has remained the same for the last 3 months, at just over 80%. The
proportion for Yahoo has been about 15% and for all other search engines,
together, about 5%
4. The average number of pages
requested per user has increased. Most of the 'map pages' requested
have fallen well down the 'top 40' and been replaced by 'top level' pages
for different categories of subject :
- Recollections
- Early Photography
- Professional Photographers
- etc.
I don't know the reason for this.
It will be interesting to see if this trend continues.
