'Top 40'
Pages
The 'Top 10' positions in September were
very similar to the 'Top 10' in August 2016. However, many of the pages that were
low down in the table in August dropped out of the 'Top 40' in September 2016.

Sessions
and Pages Viewed
There were:
(a) 146784
sessions in
September,
(4% fewer than in July).
(b) 644,777
pages viewed in
September,
(30% fewer than the average number of pages viewed in Jun to August 2016..
I believe that the high 'Page View' figures for August were probably spurious,
distorted by lot of search engine activity then.)
(c) Each session
viewed an average of 4.4 pages in
September,
(down 0.9 on the average for June to August2016).
(d) Bandwidth for
EdinPhoto in September, was
74 GB (down 23%on
June).

Visitors by Country
It's a while since I last looked at which countries the
visitors to the EdinPhoto web site came from. I kept regular stats for ten
years from 2002, but the the MatrixStats system that provided these stats got
slower and slower, and by 2012 it was 'timing out' every time I used it.
By that time I had recorded visitors from
242 of the 247 countries that had been
issuing domain names. i.e. all countries except
Antarctica, Comoros, Galapagos Islands, Mayotte and Western Sahara.
I looked again at MatrixStats today and found that it was
working b etter now, and was able to give me stats for May to September 2016.
I found no evidence of any visits during this period from any of the five
countries above, but I was able to see that between 1 May and 30 September 2016,
the EdinPhoto site had received visits from :
- 51 countries in Asia
- 52 countries in Europe
- 30 countries in North America
- 10 countries in South America
- 17 countries in Australia and Oceana
- 37 countries in Africa.
