40 Pages
The 'Top 40' list for Nov 2010
was similar to that for Oct 2010:
- The 'Top 10' pages were
exactly the same for both months.
- The first 35 pages from Oct
2010 all remained in the 'Top 40'.
- The remaining 5 pages all
dropped out of the 'Top 40'.

Sessions and Pages Viewed
The total number of sessions during
November 2010 was 591,380,
a 32% increase on the number of sessions during
October 2010.
The
total number of pages viewed during November 2010 was
2,625,568, a 73% increase on the
number of pages viewed in October 2010.
But see 3. below.

Visitors
In mid-November, there was a
lot of activity by robots from two search engines that I have not come across
before. I believe that this activity accounted for most of the 'page
views' for the first ten pages above. There was also a large increase in
'sponging'. i.e. other web sites linking directly to some of the images on
the EdinPhoto web site.
Fortunately, this extra
activity by robots and 'spongers' now seems to have abated, so let's hope that,
from December 2010 onwards, the stats for 'Sessions' and 'Pages Viewed'
will be a better indication of the activity by individual viewers.
